ARTIST

Chris S Hopkins

Chris_biopicChris Hopkins is a comic artist and cartoonist based out of Richmond, Virginia.

He specializes in giving his character designs a strong sense of identity and singularity with a style soaked in the caricature styles of Mort Drucker, Jack Davis and even the early comic work of Frank Frazetta.

While Chris insists that in no way can he compare himself to his influences, his style is rooted in their lush, expressive and at times manic attention to the individual Character.

Chris has worked as a freelance comic artist and co-writer, mainly on comedy, horror and sci-fi Indie startup projects and in relatively obscurity since 2008. He states that THIEVES OF EDEN is a welcomed breath of fresh air with its positive, hopeful, thought-provoking material and scope.
